St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport (PIE) is located in Pinellas County near Pinellas Park. The airport uses “Tampa Bay The Easy Way” as an advertising slogan. The airport also uses the phrase “Fly2PIE” which references its three-letter IATA and FAA codes.

As the focus city for Las Vegas-based Allegiant Air, the airport handles more than two million passengers each year. The other major airlines serving this airport include Flair Airlines, Sun Country Airlines, and Sunwing Airlines.

St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport is served by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The airport is home to a major U.S. Coast Guard Air Station and the U.S. Army Reserve 158th Aviation Regiment.
