Ricardo “Ricky” De Lucca

Ricardo “Ricky” De Lucca born in Queens, New York and grew up in Tampa, Florida. He is a graduate of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program at C. Leon King High School. After graduating Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Criminology at the University of Florida, he went on to earn his Law Degree from Stetson University College of Law. While at Stetson, Ricardo also earned a Certificate in Leadership Development.

Ricardo began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in the 13th Judicial Circuit. At the State Attorney’s Office, Ricardo worked his way up from misdemeanor cases to juvenile cases and felony cases. He gained extensive trial experience, prosecuting cases ranging from DUI’s to drug trafficking, firearm possession, and more.

After several years at the State Attorney’s Office, Ricardo was an Associate at one of Florida’s biggest and most prestigious Civil Trial Firms. During that time, Ricardo defended numerous large insurance companies and their insureds in cases including catastrophic and personal injury, motorcycle accidents, and commercial trucking accidents.

Ricardo’s uses his past experience as a prosecutor and civil defense attorney, to fight DUI cases aggressively at all stages of litigation. He handles negotiations, motions, hearings, and trials.

Ricardo is a member of the Tampa Hispanic Bar Association and Hillsborough County Bar Association always looking to be better involved in the Tampa Bay community.
